Today, Tangier and its artistic community mourn the loss of one of its brightest lights. Najwa El Hitmi, an iconic artist whose creativity, generosity, and passion have inspired generations, has sadly left us.

Najwa was more than an artist — she was a cultural beacon, an idole whose dedication to the arts uplifted countless souls. Her spirit was woven into the fabric of Tangier’s cultural life, always giving, always inspiring, always radiating kindness and strength.

Her beautiful mind, her warm soul, and her tireless love for this city will forever be remembered. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her legacy will live on in every stage she graced, every artist she inspired, and every heart she touched.
