Instead of leaving land fallow for years or burning down which caused carbon emissions, growing a variety of crops in sequence helps maintain soil fertility naturally, reducing erosion on slopes and minimizing the need for chemical fertilizers. This also breaks pest cycles, improves water retention, and builds stronger, healthier soil, leading to more consistent yields and a more resilient environment for future generations."
