The past few days have been intense, and I haven’t had the space to share updates about my father. To everyone who has been checking in, thank you for your kindness and generosity. It truly means a lot.

On April 8th, after 37 long days, my father was finally discharged after his medical treatment was completed. We stayed in a hotel for 5 more days before returning to the Maldives.
Recovery has been slow as he is on his 80s. Even the simplest movements require support, he cannot walk, use the toilet, or shower on his own after being discharged from the hospital.

We returned to the Maldives on April 13th.
Now in Hulhumalé at my home, healing and recovery is slow. Every step needs support, but he is getting better.

As requested by the doctors from KIMS, we did a follow up scan at Treetop Hospital in Hulhumalé and sent the results back for review.
His hemoglobin has risen from 6.3 to 12.6. In shaa Allah, time will do the rest.

Through it all, your prayers carried us. Your kindness made this weight lighter. Forgive my silence, this road demanded everything, and much of it I walked alone, carrying my responsibilities as a son.

I’m truly grateful to each and everyone of you who took a moment to wish me on my birthday, your warmth made the day feel so special 🤍 Thank you.

To be honest, I almost forgot it was my birthday. Life has been a little heavy lately… but then came the beautiful surprise from my closest ones that reminded me how blessed I am and so happy going through all your beautiful wishes and messages!
In the middle of difficult days, Allah still sends light through people, through moments, through love.
Alhamdulillah for everything. Grateful for all that has been written for me, and for all that is yet to come.
