Being thankful goes a long way in marriage.

The Lord God commands us to come to Him with thanksgiving so wouldn’t it be a smart idea to take a spirit of gratefulness into your marriage?

If marriage is a picture of the depths of God’s desire to be one with us, then thanksgiving is an avenue through which we pour love into one another's hearts.

If marriage is the earthly architectural design meant to mirror the depth of divine intimacy, then the gates and courts of Psalm 100:4 are not merely physical spaces within a temple structure.

They represent the boundaries of an absolute vulnerability and union that God invites us into.

To enter His gates with thanksgiving is to accept the invitation to step past the outer walls of distance.

To enter His courts with praise is to move directly into the interior spaces of sacred, covenantal proximity, recognizing that the ultimate desire of God is not distant servitude, but complete, holy oneness with His Bride.
