If you receive a call, email, or message claiming you have "unpaid taxes" or "tax arrears" of which you are not aware, it’s likely a scam.

𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫:
• You’re asked to bank in money to a personal or “representative” account number. LHDN only accepts payments on JomPay, MyTax portal or official bank counters.
• They ask for your IC number, username, or password. HLB and LHDN will never ask for your login details.
• They threaten you with immediate arrest, blacklisting, or "passing the call to the Police" if you don’t comply.

Just hang up or ignore the email / messages.
