We are back with our Achayapatra along with CHEERS projects in conjunction with Deepavali!

Alcohol-Free Deepavali campaign and the CHEERS project; 'Children at Home are Everybody's Responsibility'! We began this wonderful project to encourage those who squander money on alcohol to donate it to us so that we can spend it on children at home during Deepavali, as Indians frequently spend millions on alcohol during the festive season.

Achayapatra is a project where we give dry grocery items for the needy families. This is to ensure they have enough atleast to celebrate the festival with their loved ones.

We have feed more than 200 families in the past two years. We are doing the least we can to support our community during the festive season so that we can all celebrate it together happily.

We have increased our scale to 300 families this year. We hope everyone can join hands in this remarkable journey of bringing a change in our society. We appreciate your continuous support.

United Nations International Day of Non-Violence and commemoration of the 154th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

The Chairman and the Board of Trustees of the Gandhi Memorial Trust in collaboration with High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur did the official launch of the 2023 United Nations International Day of Non-Violence and commemoration of the 154th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

The event’s launching was done by chief guests His Excellency Mr. B.N. Reddy, High Commissioner of India to Malaysia. Followed speech by His Excellency Mr. Niloy Banerjee Resident Representative, UNDP Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei Darussalam. Next the Tenth Gandhi Memorial Lecture - Gandhi For The Young Millennials Speaker : Professor Jagmohan Singh Rajput. The GMT Public Service Award to be presented to Dato’ Ambiga Sreenevasan.

Representative from United Malaysian Hindu Voice, Strategic Planning Unit, United Malaysian Hindu Youth Fellowship, and United Malaysian Hindu Students League has attended the event.

UNITED NATIONS INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE 2023 - INTERFAITH DIALOGUE

23rd September 2023,
An interfaith dialogue was organised by (INSaF) and Pure Life Society in the theme of “Actions for Peace: Our Ambition for the Global Goals”. This event was held at Soka Gakkai Malaysia (Selangor) Culture Centre.

We attended Kannatthil Muthamittal a Barathiyar Musical Concert organised by Aahaa Foundation supported by Tourism Malaysia.

It was a tranquil musical event by extraordinary musicians. It was an excellent job by the organizers and It was our pleasure for being invited.
