First of all, I always make it a point to remind customers who purchase digital locks from me not to use cheap or unbranded batteries when it’s time to replace them.
The best option is to get Panasonic batteries directly from me.

However, some customers still forget and end up using unknown battery brands, which often causes problems with the digital lock.
In minor cases, the lock works intermittently. In serious cases, it completely shuts down.

The customer in the video was lucky — after switching back to Panasonic batteries, the lock returned to normal.

Aside from unknown brands, there’s actually one well-known brand I also don’t recommend using.
But to avoid any “A4 letter,” I won’t name it here. (Hint: its name contains “e # # # # ” — you can look it up yourself.)
