‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the chamber
Not a creature was stirring, save for one little baker
Who weighed and creamed and sifted and cracked
Until all was combined to make one scrumptious snack

Of sugar and flour and marshmallows and more
To make cookies and cakes and cocoa bombs galore
Of chocolate and spice and everything rum-laced
To savour on our palates the real Christmas taste

After hours and hours perfecting the treats
She hoped would bring joy to each person they meet
The baker then nestled herself into bed
Where visions of gingerbread men danced in her head
