TRX's public realm master plan has been recognised at the Malaysian Landscape Architecture Awards. The innovative master plan seeks to harmonise new financial district with the existing fabric of downtown KL. Awarded Excellence Award in the Developer & GLC category for its developer-led, community-led and sustainable development.
𝑳𝒖𝒔𝒉, 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒅
The master plan aims to reverse some of the drastic losses of green spaces suffered by the city since the 1980s. Designers meticulously integrated green spaces with quotidian rhythms and requirements, such as shade and natural cooling methods.
𝑱𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒅-𝒖𝒑 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈
The Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) is Malaysia's first urban regeneration district, designed to connect the MRT station, through the central park, and all the way to the shopping area. The main arteries of Jalan Barat and Jalan Gading will play vital roles in linking TRX to the neighbouring areas of Imbi and Bukit Bintang respectively with pavement upgrades, extensive greenery and landscaped features.
