Making the soul smile.
After interning a few times in California, I knew I’d find my way over here. Living in NYC had the kinetic energy I love, but the California coast always gave me a sense of continued wonder.
I grew up as a military kid. I was born abroad. I remember living in Alaska as a kid, and hot Southern summers too. Growing up like that, there’s a need to be outgoing to make new friends. It also instilled a deep spirit of wonder very early.
Each month I try to make sure I do something that inspires continued wonder and makes the SOUL smile. These special moments climbing near waves at sunset does it for me. And reminds me of how needed that is for my wellbeing.
