Neo Bar KL May 15, 16 Weekend 🥳🎶🍹💫
This weekend at Neo is pretty special as we are celebrating Art Xtreme Media’s 11th anniversary this Friday. A KL based electronic music event organiser and promoter, AXM has added for more than a decade, a drop of diversity in Asia’s electronic music soundscape through thousands of events in the region’s clubs and countless of established nights like The Sweatbox, Off The Record, Girls Got Groove , the more recent collaboration - Lovebox and a decade of clubs, festivals and radio performances under the DJ Biscuit alias plus a record label to top it all off - Sweatbox Records which also just recently turned 8 and gathering under its umbrela regional and globally acclaimed artists. We get to deliver some exquisite beats with one of the first ever residents of the brand - JonnyVicious, one of the most compelling voices in the Malaysian music industry as an artist , promoter , organiser and above all, a powerful creative presence , completing this wholesome full circle for a very special night 🪩🎵❤️

Sat May16 Wavey returns to Neo to start up your Saturday with some groovy , organic vibes from 9-11 PM ( Afro house) . Axel Groove , one of Asia’s leading music tastemakers , bookers and performers takes over from 11 PM- late (house, Afro house) , making his long awaited debut at Neo Bar.

Two artists who make Malaysia proud everyday . Meliha is an artist of many talents- she is a singer , songwriter, composer , DJ, producer all in one . Not to mention she can do a jaw dropping acoustic guitar 🎸 set that leave you speechless. Her collaborations with Anjunadeep featuring her eerie , dreamy vocals have pushed Meliha even higher on her path of versatility and talent. A long-standing Sweatbox resident , expect a versatile and sexy set from her .
RaySoo also needs no introduction. For the most part of the past 30 years, Raysoo made a name for himself by honing his craft by holding residencies at some of the most seminal taste making venues in Malaysia. Fast forward a few years and Love International was born - a label that features collaborations with fellow producers from all over the world . Raysoo is probably the most toured DJ in Malaysia and whether you find him in a bohemian spot in Bali on the beach or in Berlin’s darkest, no frills clubs , he shows no signs of stopping and he spreads his love of music worldwide and world over. Biscuit is a steady presence on the Malaysian music scene and beyond - the founder of Art Xtreme Media, who threw events for the past 11 years in Malaysia and beyond ,the creator of Sweatbox and the namesake label . Radio presenter and broadcaster , DJ and promoter all in one, Biscuit’s sets are inspired by Depeche Mode, world travels and stories of joy and music passion. Expect a colourful concoction of sounds for this decade Sweatbox anniversary ❤️🎶🥳
🎪 Dear party people! The Sweatbox is turning 10! Saturday, November 22 from 9 PM to 3 AM , Triptyk upstairs will transform into a carnival style experience filled with quality vibes and forward thinking electronic music . For our next magic 🪄 trick, we have brought together our resident DJs- Meliha, Obadius , Otherkind, Raysoo, Biscuit plus a special guest to spice things up - Just James. The Sweatbox is a community of party people with open minds and hearts into a journey of sound that is undefined by genres . Their trust in our ability to take them on a few hours long party experience without judgement or discrimination is what defined Sweatbox as a concept- a marathon and not a sprint. Introducing people to new and cutting edge music and introducing them to thousands of artists from all over the world has been our mission from the start and the centrepiece of all our events . Inspiring entire generations of artists to learn and further their music careers has given birth to some really talented homegrown music producers and musicians who we are very proud to call our residents. From the early days of Elysium and till the present day , it was our pleasure to create some epic moments on the dance floors of Malaysia and beyond.
