Car brands enjoy taking us to race tracks or road / obstacle courses for “hot laps” primarily to demonstrate engineering by pushing the car to its limits to show us what it can do. It is also the safest way to prove the capability of its brakes, suspension, and engine performance without breaking local road laws, especially since you can’t do that in Genting Highlands 🤭 It also gets us intimately familiar with its interiors, its upholstery, its sound proofing and its passenger roof handle quality and car floor mats like this! 🥲

We’re riding the BYD Ti7 (Ti for Titanium). It’s a 7-seat 1.5T PHEV SUV with 127 km EV range! Pushing down our bodies with 225 Nm of torque, with a zero to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds.
