Inheritance.

I’ve always wanted to document about my grandpa about his works.
I can say that I’ve tried, but it never came into fruition (maybe some day).

But even though I didn’t do it for mine, I’m glad that I’m able to do it for others.

The importance of it all hits me the moment when I started to film the first frame of the video.
It shows me something as simple as sitting together to enjoy a meal, is a privilege.

When Michelle’s grandpa visited their vehicle holding ground (don’t know the exact name for it).
It’s such a wholesome moment to be able to see that and capture it.

Standing on the grounds that you’ve build throughout your life, and being able to see it with your grandkids.
It goes to show that the works of your hands today might not be for the now, but for the generations after you.

And I can’t help but relate it to filmmaking.
Our works as storytellers are always for the unseen future, the unseen people.

So when you are given a chance to tell someone in the future about something.
What would it be?
