Our Story

After a year of backpacking across New Zealand, in 2012, and immersed in their heavy culture of totally foreign coffee brewing culture to us that time, we craved for a good cup of coffee in Kulim , and at that time. the best place to have a cup is in Penang, specifically Light House Cafe.

So we drove for 50 minutes, looked for parking for 10 and then walked into a very cramped but fine cafe. There and then while seeping a cold Australian Latte, we hatched a hairbrained idea to open a proper Cafe in Kulim to minimize our travel time .

Thus the seed of Loft 67 Cafe was planted.

In a small town, in a small knook, we brew, pull and froth our way into a cup of consistent espresso and coffee while offering homemade food, artisanal cakes and desserts. Our selections of items may not be as grand as others, but we can proudly say that all our selections are crafted from raw materials by ourselves to the plating that is served to everyone.
