Today, we celebrate our visionary Founder and Chairman, Abiodun Atobatele, on his birthday!

Abiodun’s passion for youth empowerment, innovation, and community development continues to inspire all of us at the Abiodun and Yinka Atobatele Foundation (AYAF) and ATB Tech Hub. His leadership has created platforms that are transforming lives, equipping young people with future-ready skills, and building sustainable impact in our communities.

On this special day, the entire AYAF and ATB family joins in wishing him long life, good health, and many more years of leadership, innovation, and service.

On Friday, July 11th, 2025, ATB Tech Hub welcomed students from the KIT UP Academy, a transformative initiative led by EduEdge Consults, for a day packed with practical learning, meaningful conversations, and tech-inspired fun.

KIT UP Academy is an eight-week intensive training program designed for secondary school leavers in Abeokuta, with a focus on equipping them with essential digital tools and life skills needed to thrive on campus and beyond.

During their visit to the Hub, the participants engaged in a variety of activities that blended learning with collaboration:

Hands-on Microsoft Office session: Students were introduced to tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, building on their prior experience with Google Workspace

Interactive chat with the ATB team: A stimulating conversation about the opportunities available in tech and how digital skills can shape their futures

Fun and strategy games: From scrabble and chess to checkers and monopoly, the games helped develop critical thinking, communication, and bonding among participants

We were honored to provide our computer lab and creative room for the experience and thrilled to support EduEdge’s mission of preparing young people for a digitally-driven world.

Empowering the Next Generation with Tech Skills

This August, we are launching a Free Summer Code Camp specially designed for children in rural and underserved communities. Our goal is to bridge the digital divide and equip young minds with practical digital skills for the future.

Open to Kids (Ages 5 – 16)

What Kids Will Learn:

* Computer Appreciation and Digital Literacy
* Introduction to AI and Automation

The camp will include hands-on projects, guided lessons, and certificates of participation for all learners.
