Following the resounding victory of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the just concluded local government elections across Niger State, I wish to, on behalf of the APC Professional Forum, extend our heartfelt appreciation to our visionary leader, the Executive Governor of Niger State, Farmer Governor Umar Mohammed Bago, for his outstanding leadership, strategic direction, and commitment to grassroots mobilization which culminated in this well deserved success.
We also commend the state party leadership, the local government executives, ward executives, and all members of the APC family for their tireless efforts and unity of purpose throughout the campaign period. Your dedication has once again proven that the APC remains the trusted choice of the people.
Special congratulations to our newly elected Chairmen and Councillors who emerged victorious under the banner of our great party. Your victory is not just a mandate from the people but also a call to service. I urge you to align yourselves fully with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the New Niger Agenda of His Excellency Farmer Governor Umar Mohammed Bago. Together, these visions represent our collective commitment to good governance, inclusivity, and sustainable development.
I enjoin all our elected leaders to spread the dividends of democracy equitably, to embrace all stakeholders both within and outside the party and to run inclusive administrations at all levels. Let the focus be on fighting hunger, reducing illiteracy, and driving meaningful development that will transform the lives of our people in line with global best practices.
As you transition into governance, may Almighty Allah grant you wisdom, strength, and guidance to deliver on your mandates and fulfill the hopes and aspirations of those who elected you.
