I had two excellent sandwiches yesterday and I have been VERY excited to come here and tell you about it!

is sitting on the best Philly Cheese Steak Focaccia sandwich in this town and I think we all need to go there and try it.

The bread was warm, bouncy, crunchy and fluffy at the same time and if you know your foccacua, you know this is high praise! The steak was soft, the house sauce was perfect and the overall structural integrity of the sandwich was literal perfection. It didn’t get soggy, it didn’t lose fillings. Ugh. It. Was. Perfect. Guys!

I’m drooling thinking about her.

The cafe itself was so pretty, so clean, the waiter, Silas, was polite and super responsive!

My friend and I didn’t want to stop gisting and I really think it’s because we were having a great time just sitting, eating and drinking the yummiest Dalgona Coffee so shout out to the first place that’s made me excited for food in Abuja in a long long time!!

Great bottles of wine, great staff, rustic ambience and all the giggles. For an exclusive wine bar, LH does its best to keep you comfortable and honestly, that’s all I ask for.

This & Yap this weekend. One of my must-order items from the starters menu at is the Spicy Rock Shrimp. Crispy, battered shrimps, spicy mayo sauce and chives. What’s not to love?!

The C.F.Eats Story

Borne out of trying to get my friends off my back about creating a food blog, C.F.Eats is a wee little adventure into the good, the bad and the ugly on the restaurant/cafe scene in Abuja.

Abuja is a beautiful city that’s not without its own unique and general problems but, the one thing people failed to see (on a macro level) was how affordable eating out was. So I created an Instagram and Tumblr account at the same time to show off the incredible food/spaces here as well as the places to avoid with a 10 foot pole.

I realised that some spaces, while beautiful, had some of the worst service and they could get away with it because no one was calling them out on or complaining publicly. Believing this was a disservice to others, C.F.Eats was established with no real rudder and no actual direction except for the need to showcase the best and the worst of a city I call home.

Nearly a year later, it has grown into a lovely little community of people looking for good eats and cute spaces to unwind because living in Nigeria is hard sometimes and you need a break too.
