Historical,Ikot Abasi LGA deserve a Global recognition of the amalgamation that brought about the Nigeria of today
Implementation: The amalgamation was mostly an administrative merger rather than a social union of the people, with the British employing different administrative styles (indirect rule in the North) in the two regions.
Impact: While it formed the modern borders of Nigeria, it also created long-term challenges, including economic disparities, political tension, and cultural clashes between the predominantly Muslim North and Christian South.
Allow me to say "Nigeria was Birth in Ikot Abasi LGA".
This are one of the key setback Lessons we cannot afford to repeat
Ikot Abasi LGA must unite with political alignment for sustainable infrastructural development
History like this should equally serves as a cautionary tale to all Ikot Abasi indigenes
