Topic: When Faith Meets Fire
Anchor Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:12

Persecution is the shadow that follows conviction. It is the storm that rises when a person chooses truth over comfort and faith over fear. Like gold tried in fire, persecution presses, burns, and refines; revealing not weakness, but resilience.
It speaks in many voices: rejection, opposition, mockery, silence. Yet, beneath its harsh language lies a strange paradox; what seeks to break often becomes what strengthens. Through the dark valleys of suffering, courage learns to walk and faith learns to stand.

Persecution is not merely pain; it is the cost that conviction sometimes pays.

"Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” — 2 Timothy 3:12. Persecution may come through criticism, exclusion, mockery, pressure to compromise, or even physical suffering, but Scripture encourages believers to remain faithful, respond with love, and trust God through trials. We shall overcome!

Topic: Keep the Lights On
Anchor Scripture: Matthew 5:16

Many Christians think shining means becoming a preacher on a stage. But Jesus didn't say "become famous." He said "let your light shine." The word "let" means stop hiding.

The light is simply God's goodness flowing through you—patience in traffic, honesty at work, kindness to a rude neighbor. It's not about perfection; it's about being real.

The goal is to "glorify your Father." Your good works are not a spotlight on you. They are a window through which others see God. When someone asks, "Why are you so calm?" or "How could you forgive that?"—that's your light shining.

If you shine for applause, you become a flashlight pointing at yourself. But if you shine for God's glory, you become a lamp helping others find their way home.

You don't need to manufacture light. Just stop covering it. Let your small, ordinary obedience today make someone wonder about your Father in heaven.
