The future of cash

Although the future of money is still up in the air, certain theories could aid in our comprehension of potential changes. For instance, many people think that as we transition to a cashless future, digital payments will overtake coins and cash in terms of popularity. About half of the customers worldwide utilized mobile payment applications in the past year alone, according to a 2018 PwC analysis, which also forecast that there will be 2 billion digital wallets globally by 2022, including both bank-issued cards and third-party apps like Venmo or PayPal. Cryptocurrency, of which Bitcoin is the most well-known, is a further trend worth mentioning (BTC).
Digital currencies known as cryptocurrencies are produced by computers solving difficult mathematical problems; unlike dollars or euros, they are not backed by any government and instead employ encryption to safeguard user-to-user transactions instead of a middleman like a bank or credit card company.
