Over the weekend, at the Nigerian People’s Strategic Conference and Defence Exhibition 2026 in Abuja, I highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen Nigeria's security architecture through local defence production, improved intelligence sharing, and continued investment in the training of our security personnel.

I also stressed the importance of stronger collaboration between government, the private sector, and local communities in the fight against insecurity. .

While challenges remain, we are rough on pursuing practical reforms, partnerships, and innovations that will strengthen national security.
