Dua for Gaza:
- "Rabbana afrigh ‘alayhim ṣabran wa thabbit aqdāmahum wa-nṣurhum ‘alā al-qawmi al-kāfirīn." Meaning: "Our Lord, pour upon them patience and plant firmly their feet and give them victory over the disbelieving people" (Quran 2:250).
- "Allahumma ihmi ahl Filasteen min kulli zalimin wa a‘inhum ‘ala al-najat wa al-thabat." Meaning: "O Allah, protect the people of Palestine from every oppressor and assist them in attaining safety and steadfastness

- "O Allah, improve the condition of the people of Palestine and grant them relief from every hardship and worry."
- "O Allah, protect the children, women, and men of Palestine. End their pain and struggles, and grant them peace in their hearts and homes."
- "Ya Rabb, strengthen the people of Palestine and protect them from injustice. Bring peace to their land and guide them with Your light."¹ ² ³

Remember to recite these duas with sincerity and conviction, and to pray for the people of Gaza and Palestine in your own words, asking Allah for their safety, peace, and prosperity.

يَسْأَلُكَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ أَنْ تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ كِتَابًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ ۚ فَقَدْ سَأَلُوا مُوسَىٰ أَكْبَرَ مِنْ ذَٰلِكَ فَقَالُوا أَرِنَا اللَّهَ جَهْرَةً فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ بِظُلْمِهِمْ ۚ ثُمَّ اتَّخَذُوا الْعِجْلَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ فَعَفَوْنَا عَنْ ذَٰلِكَ ۚ وَآتَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ سُلْطَانًا مُبِينًا

The People of the Scripture ask you to bring down to them a book from the heaven. But they had asked of Moses [even] greater than that and said, "Show us Allah outright," so the thunderbolt struck them for their wrongdoing. Then they took the calf [for worship] after clear evidences had come to them, and We pardoned that. And We gave Moses a clear authority.

An-Nisaa-153

۞ إِنَّا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ كَمَا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ نُوحٍ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ۚ وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطِ وَعِيسَىٰ وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُونُسَ وَهَارُونَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ ۚ وَآتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ زَبُورًا

Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And we revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].

The passing away of a legend, the former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, May Allah have mercy on his soul, brought me to tears!

He was an upright man, a very disciplined believer who served his people to the best of his ability. His name was synonymous with integrity.

He was definitely one of those who made me develop a much better perception of Nigerians as a people.

May Allah Almighty forgive your shortcomings and grant you the highest ranks of Jannah. Aameen.

May Allah Almighty make it easy for his family, friends and the nation of Nigeria.

نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَأَنْزَلَ التَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنْجِيلَ

He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel.
