Join our FEED, Ikorodu Project.
Project Title: F.E.E.D (Farming for Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Development) Ikorodu.
Summary:
The F.E.E.D Ikorodu project intends to train 35 unemployed and underemployed youths in
sustainable agricultural practices as it relates to innovative smart city vegetable production and poultry farming. The project is funded by German Missions in Nigeria through ProtectOzone Sustainable Livelihoods Initiative.
Note:
- The FEED programme is a 5- month non-residential programme which involves components of intensive hands-on training
- The FEED programme requires NO educational background. However, participants’ assessments are based on the quality principles of the programme.
- The training components will be conducted in English, Pidgin and Yoruba
- The FEED programme is free for selected participants. The programme offers: training materials, supportive supervision, hands-on practical sessions, agricultural inputs for components covered on the programme. Participants feeding, transportation and accommodation will not be covered by the programme.
- You will be required to fulfil a minimum of 90% attendance to graduate from the training
- As a part of the induction session, participants will be provided with the code of conduct for this training. Violation of the code of conduct will result in being withdrawn from the programme, return of all training materials in good condition and payment of a fee which is the equivalent of the training cost.
- Training starts in the last week of July through November.
