CASE 34
Husband: “Honey, I said I’m sorry. I never meant to hurt you but your words made me lose my temper”
Wife: “You are still defending yourself abi? You are not even ashamed of yourself and you call yourself a Sunday school teacher? You slap me again over a minor argument. The pastor must hear about it this time”
Husband: “Honey! There you go again. Must you inform the pastor over every argument we have? Every marriage has its own good and bad moments. I am deeply sorry for all that happened and I promise you it won’t happen again”
Wife: “That was what you said the first time it happened. You said it was a mistake and that it won’t happen again, and it happened. I can’t understand you anymore, I must cry out”
Husband: “Is telling the pastor the solution? What would you gain if I was disciplined and disgraced? I regret my actions and am deeply sorry about what happened between us last night”
