Chef go suffer to deliver exceptional dining experience for a client, at the end of the day, na only waitress go collect tips.

And the funny part of it all is that waiter's (male server's) doesn't get this kind of favour too. It's only allocated to the waitresses especially when they're fine with standing bweast and suffocating bu**um.

We chef's are really tired ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

So, early morning yesterday I posted a snip of my rice on fire on my WhatsApp status.
this was a quick morning order I got first thing yesterday morning.
"special jollof rice to be paired with fresh peppered fish".

As I was on the heat, trying to still keep up with my social families, I recorded just a 15 seconds video and posted on my WhatsApp status.

Prior to this time, my rice is properly cooked and just waiting to dry as to not be looking soggy because i maintains and not compromising my standards for anything.

after the whole struggle in the kitchen, I got home yesterday to see the message my kid sister sent to me about my Dad teasing that my rice isn't yet cooked properly ๐Ÿ˜€

The funny thing was that I explained to them on the basis which I make my rice but my dad cracked it up with..."I shouldn't come back home to cook this way" ๐Ÿคฃ

It was quite a funny moment for us, reading that line alone, I know how my dad so much detest uncooked rice or rice that wasn't properly done on fire.

I had to remember his funny reactions the very first time I cooked fried rice and didn't allow my rice to soften very well โ˜บ๏ธ
The rice was sweet but my dad couldn't applaud me because he can't eat a half cooked rice.

I have to turn his own portion back for fire, add water and cook again.

By the time the rice was cooked properly, it has loosen it's initial taste for me but that was the moment it sweetened my father the most ๐Ÿ˜€

Honestly, you can just boil rice till soft without adding anything, serve it my dad and he's going to enjoy it ๐Ÿ˜‚

But this Christmas, am making this exact style of Jollof rice for him and he's definitely going to enjoy it.
