➡️ You post a reel → it gets shown to some of your followers → if it performs well, it’s then shown to non-followers.
This of course was advantageous for large creators while remaining quite difficult for small or new creators to get much reach.
If you are a small creator or you’re just getting started on Instagram keep reading, this is going to greatly benefit you.

The 🆕 NEW Instagram algorithm will work like this:
1️⃣You post a reel.
2️⃣The Instagram will show your reels to your followers AND to a “test group” of non followers.
3️⃣Then as always, if your reel performs well with those viewers, it will get pushed and out more and so on.

Feedback Vs Testimonials
Feedback is a driver of continuous improvement, innovation and push for progress in every business and it is not the same thing as testimonials.
Feedback/Review in business, is a real and honest and information clients or customers give you about their experience with your product or service.
Testimonial is a written or oral statement from a client or customer, extolling the values of your products or services.
These two factors are very important in business and play different roles.
But the focus of this post is on the former.
I know that as business owners and persons, we are out to build our businesses to success. So we need all the good things that customers and clients have to say about us so that we can have some bragging rights to win in our next sales pitch for more patronage. There is nothing bad about it.
But the truth is, if you focus more on testimonials, you have propensity for mediocrity without knowing it.
Testimonials will make you feel good about your business and your expertise but have higher tendency of making you lazy to strive for excellence.
So if you want to constantly out do your past, constantly out shine your past performance and stay on the upward trajectory of excellent value delivery, then focus on customers feedbacks.
It is in feedbacks, you can become voracious for innovation that will put your business ahead both for extraordinary success and to beat competition.
Testimonials will massage and fuel your ego but feedbacks will put you on your toes for ever increasing performance.
