One-Day Stakeholders Meeting on Gas and Power:

Earlier today at the Geogold Hotel Awka, I joined other industry stakeholders on Gas on a One-Day Stakeholders meeting organized by the Anambra State Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in conjunction with the joint Project Development Committee of the NNPC Gas Infrastructure Company/Fradro Gas and Power Limited(NGIC/FGPL) Eastern natural gas pipeline distribution network.

As a CEO of an emerging Automobile Care Company (Zaudace Nigeria Limited) we discussed issues and prospects in the gas sector, especially with the latest assurance of Mr. President to include Anambra in the National Gas Masterplan.

For me, we need to get Anambra into the gas conversation and explore the opportunities in gas that will ensure we have cleaner energy and cheaper power, including CNG run vehicles.

My observations were noted and I was assured that by the end of the last quarter of 2025 the project will come alive.

The event was attended by the host Commissioner for Petroleum Resources, Barr. Ifeanya Anthony , Commissioner for Power and Water resources Engr. Julius Chukwuemeka, Commissioner for Trade and Commerce Mr. Christian Udechukwu, Commissioners of Transport and Land. Other representatives from the NNPC, First Capital etc attended the meeting.

Gas is coming to Anambra fully!
