Classic Homemade Lasagna Recipe
Indulge in the rich layers of perfectly cooked pasta, savory meat sauce, creamy béchamel, and melted cheese — the ultimate comfort food straight from your oven.
Ingredients:
12 lasagna sheets
500g minced beef (or chicken)
2 cups tomato sauce
1 medium onion (finely chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 cups béchamel sauce
1 cup mozzarella cheese (grated)
½ cup parmesan cheese
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt, pepper, and Italian herbs to taste
Preparation Steps:
1️⃣ Boil the lasagna sheets until al dente and set aside.
2️⃣ In a pan, heat olive oil, sauté onions and garlic, then add minced beef. Cook until browned.
3️⃣ Pour in tomato sauce, season, and let it simmer for 10–15 minutes.
4️⃣ In a baking dish, layer in this order:
Meat sauce
Lasagna sheets
Béchamel sauce
Cheese
Repeat the layers and finish with a generous layer of cheese on top.
5️⃣ Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes, or until golden and bubbling.
