EdoGIS MD Presents Signed Copies of Cs of O to Diaspora Indigenes

BENIN-CITY- The Managing Director of Edo State Geographic Information Service (EdoGIS), Dr Innocent Ehi Bello, yesterday, presented samples of signed Certificates of Occupancy (CsofO) to the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Edo State on Diaspora Matters, Dion Osagie, during his courtesy visit to the Agency's headquarters.

Osagie commended Dr. Bello for the progress recorded at EdoGIS so far, noting that Edo indigenes at home and in the diaspora have continued to acknowledge the positive changes at the Agency.

He said the State's strong international ties have been reinforced by the land administration reforms and proper documentation of direct interests back home in Edo State and assured Edos in Diaspora that the administration of Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo remains committed to protecting their interests through the provision of key infrastructure across the State.

Responding, EdoGIS MD, while presenting the signed copies of Certificates of Occupancy (C of O) belonging to Edo indigenes in the diaspora, disclosed that following the recent signing of a batch of CofO by Governor Okpebholo, more were on the way.

Dr. Bello reaffirmed EdoGIS's commitment to resolving all land-related issues for Edo indigenes and assured that more signed Csof O would soon be rolled out.

He, however, urged diaspora investors to continue to support Governor Okpebholo and reach out to the Agency directly on land matters, assuring that prompt attention woud be given to them.
