HOW UNIBEN CALCULATES THEIR AGGREGATE SCORE FOR EACH COURSE.
Its true that UNIBEN located at ugbowo(campus 1) and ekenmwan(campus2) is one of the toughest when it comes to post utme.
Each course has its own aggregate cut off mark. This will be unveiled in subsequent posts but note that the aggregate cut off mark for courses in UNIBEN is not constant. Its something that is fixed after the screening exams(post utme). Its fixed based on the performance of candidates. Now, let's see how the scores are calculated.
1. Your UTME score is divided by 8
let's use a utme score of 300 as a case study.
The utme aggregate is thus calculated as 300/8= 37.5
👉 note that uniben or jamb doesn't summarize. so, 37.5 is taken as 37.
2. Your post utme score(screening score) is divided by 2 to give the screening aggregate. (Post UTME is always marked over 100)
Let's use a score of 80.
Screening aggregate = 80/2= 40
3. The utme aggregate and screening aggregate is added to give the cut off mark.
from our analysis, we'll say
37+40=77
Using this method, you too can calculate yours.
