Chapter 2: The Void Within

I sat alone in the hospital reception, surrounded by eerie silence. Father's departure left an unfillable void. Tears streamed down my face as memories flooded my mind.

Dad was more than just a parent; he was my guiding light, my confidant. His unwavering support nurtured my dreams. He believed in me when no one else would. His door was always open, welcoming everyone with open arms.

But fate cruelly snatched him away. Jealousy and greed poisoned his relationships. Those he trusted stabbed him in the back, taking everything. His selflessness became his downfall.

"How will I find someone like you, Father?" I whispered, my voice shaking.

Your love, guidance, and wisdom – irreplaceable. Your absence leaves me vulnerable.

Fear crept in. "How will I survive?"

Dad's words echoed: "Be resilient, love everyone, but don't trust everyone." Easy to say, hard to do.

I felt lost, abandoned. Tears fell like rain, mourning the loss of my rock.
