What You Do on Social Media Can Boost You or Hold You Back.

Read that again. Your social media presence can either open doors or close opportunities you didn’t know existed.

What you post or what you comment on is what people will associate with you.

Let me share a quick story I read somewhere : Someone recommended a talented individual for a job based on his impressive YouTube content.

However, when the hiring team checked his other social media(Facebook, TikTok) they found a feed filled with gossip, entertainment,unserious content, nothing that showcased his skills or intellect. It was a missed opportunity for him.

Don’t say am serious on LinkedIn or YouTube while defaming yourself on Facebook or TikTok (You don’t know which of your platforms, your potential employer , customers or business partner will go to , to check you out. They’ll form opinions based on your social media, which can either enhance your credibility or lead to missed chances.

BE CONSISTENT ON ALL PLATFORMS!!

(you can innovate on the style of presentation from one platform to the other based on audience but the message should speak to YOU!!)

For example:

- If You're an Accountant and your page says Accountant: Why are your socials filled with posts on politics and gossip instead of finance-related content?

- If You're a Digital Marketer: Why share only gossip instead of marketing strategies?

- If You're a Software Engineer: Why not discuss technology and industry trends?

Your social media is like a shop. If someone sells tomatoes but only posts rice, who will trust him or her?

If you don’t take yourself seriously online, others won’t either.

Leave behind any distractions from past years. Be intentional and start positioning yourself correctly. You don’t need to be viral, just clear about your expertise and focus on creating a digital footprint that defines you..

Then pause. Because that feeling you call “managing” is not freedom. And yes… that’s literally most people.

Here’s the thing.

Financial freedom is not loud. It does not announce itself. And it definitely doesn’t look like what social media tells us;

These are some things that will give you comfort if you are on the right vehicle to the freedom we want.🥰

1: Silence replaces urgency
When you start making significant progress towards financial freedom, money stops shouting at you. No panic. No rush. No “I need to fix this now or everything collapses.”

Bills don’t trigger fear anymore. They become logistics.

If every financial decision still feels urgent, emotional, or stressful, you haven’t crossed the line yet. Freedom is calm, not adrenaline.

2: Your decisions are no longer desperate
Here’s the thing people won’t tell you.
When you’re not financially free, you say yes out of fear. Bad jobs. Bad deals. Bad relationships. Bad pressure. That’s why I said earlier that I

The ability to say “no” without your stomach tightening is a major sign you’re getting there.
