TOPIC: A NEW DAWN

TEXT: MATTHEW 28:1
In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

INTRODUCTION: This is a not a replacement of the former rather it is a brand new beginning. After a long time offline, the Lord has finally decided to open a new door. This new dawn is something I can't imagine undoing.

I. THE DAWN
The above scripture contains an account of the dawn after very a 'Special Shabbat'
A. Customary Observations: The Jewish Custom demands that a loved one's co**se should be anointed after burial. That was exactly what the Marys were observing for Jesus Christ.
B. Altered Sequence: at the sepulcher something unimaginable occurred (no co**se to anoint). Have ever prepared to do something worthy but failed because of unforseen circumstances? That's what those women faced at Jesus' burial site. Thank God, it ended in His praise and glory.

II. THE FIRST ACT
A. Faithful service: It was supposed to be a private and an anonymous act of reverence that needed no publicity. We should learn the Loyal disciples' unique acts of unannounced devotion.
B. A Predawn Miracle: God is never out of sorts when it comes to performing the miraculous. To receive your unexpected miracle in Jesus Name, Amen.

III. THE SURPRISE
A. None expected the resurrection, but it happened. God is giving you undeserving surprises without explanation. Only believe, with God all things are possible, your homelessness inclusive.
B. Because God Cares: Whatever God is about to restart would be permanent as the created universe remains. Heavens and the earth may pass away but God's faithful promises upon you would never pass away.

CONCLUSION
Jesus' followers wanted to be invisible, doing their God-ordained worship but fate had another plan, to announce their simple acts of worship from the highest quarters without their consent. So shall God announce you unexpectedly, in Jesus Name' Amen.
