We paid a most inspiring courtesy visit to His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, Governor of Akwa Ibom State — a proud Rotarian and visionary leader whose ARISE Agenda continues to illuminate the path of progress and transformation across the state.

From agricultural revolution to rural development, from infrastructure renewal to security management, and from education to health innovation, His Excellency’s commitment to Service Above Self mirrors the very heart of Rotary’s mission.

A shining embodiment to that vision is the magnificent ARISE Park, a world-class leisure and tourism wonder rising from a 70-hectare reclaimed erosion site, proof that impossibility is nothing when purpose leads the way.

Rotary Foundation Trustee Chair Holger Knaack remarked,

“Rotary is not going anywhere because Rotary is everywhere.”
Indeed, projects like the Rotary Healthy Communities Challenge in Akwa Ibom clearly show Rotary’s heartbeat in action — visible, vibrant, and transforming lives daily.

With leaders like Governor Umo Eno championing service and impact, we see the true strength of collaboration — that strong partnerships drive greater transformation and impact in our communities.
