SEN. IMOKE THANKS OBUDU FOR REMAINING STEADFAST WITH PDP, SAID PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CHURCH IS NEEDED FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE.

Sen. Liyel Imoke during the presidential campaign council town hall meeting at Obudu established that PDP has a good history in cross river state that must be sustained, iterated that what is needed in Obudu and cross river state is men of character and integrity, going further he said Obudu needed to have a Governor and he insisted on it to ensure their son became Governor.

Sen. Liyel said he is in Obudu to encourage the people of Obudu to be committed to PDP activities which will be rewarded Soon. He Implored them to unify with their people and utilize their pvc's and vote Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to become the next president of Nigeria, Encouraged them to Vote Sen.Sandy Onor who has cognate experience to become Governor of Cross River State, Chief. Peter Akpanke for House of reps, Sen. Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe and Mr. Jon ukwue for Member cross Rrver State House of assembly

Speaking with the Christian association of Nigeria(CAN) H.E said the church is the body of Christ and they need to partner with them in prayers before engaging in any process, as the church is needed for good governance to be achieved through partnership,further charged them to advice their congregants to avoid the Muslim/Muslim ticket and vote Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for president in the next election.

Responding for the leaders of christian association of Nigeria(CAN)Apostle Joe Agim thanked Sen.Imoke and the PCC delegation for interfacing with them and promised to talk with the congregants to support Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the PDP in the forth coming elections.

Responding for the OBUDU people, Uje Michael expressed the loyalty and consistency of the Obudu people in PDP and promised to remain steadfast in their commitment to the victory of PDP.

At the palace of the Paramount ruler of Obudu, HRM Uti Jeddy Agba, Sen. Liyel said he has tremendous respect for HRM Uti Jeddy Agba who has always been a father to all.
Further more, he told the traditional institution that they have come to solicicit for their support to the incoming Government of PDP. He admonished the royal institution to support the candidature of Sen. Sandy Onor who would take after his footsteps, support Sen jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, Chief. Peter Akppanke and in overall Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for president as cross river state would enjoy prolific benefits if Atiku Abubakar becomes Governor.

Chief. Sylvester Okpole who spoke onbahalf of the traditional institution said, Obudu is made up of thirty six clans and all this thirty six clans who have their chiefs present in the meeting at the palace would support candidates of the PDP as PDP would meritoriously win the 2023 elections.

ATIKU/OKOWA 2023: PCC NTERACT WITH TRADITIONAL RULERS C.A.N AND PDP STAKEHOLDERS / MEMBERS IN BOKI LGA.

H. E.(Sen).Liyel Imoke remarked that he had enjoyed so much support from the traditional rulers of Boki. said moving forward they cannot continue suffering the pains of this Apc administration and condemned the timber logging that is being carried out in Boki which has led to destroying the rain forest as only the forest sustained Boki in the world map but the depletion has caused Boki to loose it prideful position.He said Government is supposed to be continuity but everything that PDP built including education, hospitals and programs for the development of Boki has been destroyed by the present APC administration to the detriment of the people.

The former CRS Governor, rendered apologies to the Boki people for him being part of the process that brought Sen. Ben Ayade to become Governor of the state. advised every body to do it right by getting their permanent voters cards (PVC'S) and ensure they cast all their votes for PDP for the restoration of the state values and not subject themselves to financial inducement, either through food on the table or vote buying that will lead them to sell their votes to other parties that have no good policies for the betterment of Nigerians.
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar should be voted for president to attract federal Government presence and Projects to cross river state.

Reminded the people that, APC has never won elections in cross river state and the time has come for the people to take decisions on those to Govern the country with quality representation of the people at the national and state level which is why he has come to them to solicicit for their support for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to be voted as President to attract federal Government presence and Projects to Cross River state. Further Implored them to vote Sen. Sandy Ojang Onor as Governor, Rt.Hon.Bassey Ewa as Senator of the central and Barr. Attach Ochinke as member HOR for Ikom/ Boki federal constituency, Walter Nandi and Ikobi Ikobi for Boki 1&2 state constituencies.

The Paramount ruler of Boki LGA, HRH Otu Freedaline applauded Sen.Liyel Imoke for his tremendous performance in the state when he was Governor, said they will support PDP to succeed in the forth coming elections because with the success of PDP them as a people have succeed.

Adressing the clergy men, H.E Sen.Liyel Imoke said Nigeria is deteriorating which has led the masses to extreme poverty because the present Government has refused to crate Jobs and opportunities for the young people, added that the church has a critical roll to play in the development of Nigeria and leadership needs the intervention of the christian body to succeed. Appealed to the Christian leaders to speak with their congregation to support Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for president and all other candidates of PDP in the next general elections.

The Paramount ruler of Boki LGA, HRH Otu Freedaline applauded H.E(Sen).Liyel Imoke for his tremendous performance in Boki and love he showed them when he was Governor bof Cross River State. Reiterated that, them in Boki will support PDP to succeed in the fort coming elections because if PDP succeed, them in Boki have also succeded.

The chairman of the Christian association of Nigeria (CAN) in Boki, Rev. Father Clement Imor said the church should be carried along in decision making in Governance and assured the PCC of Prayers and conscientizing members of their churches to support the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in the 2023 elections.

Responding for the Boki people, the member representing Boki 1 state constituency, Hon. Itam Abang said Boki is traditionally PDP because PDP has done them well and will deliver 5/5 for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to become president of Nigeria come 2023.
