Senator Sandy Onor Extols Mrs. Felicia N. Ogbe at 85
..described her as extraordinarily fruitful, industrious, and purposeful

In a befitting ceremony, the Presidential Candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Prof. Sandy O. Onor, joined dignitaries from all walks of life to celebrate and pay glowing tribute to the matriarch, Mrs. Felicia N. Ogbe, mother of Mr. Nzan Ogbe, on her 85th birthday.

The event, held on June 27, 2026, at the prestigious St. Patrick's College, Ikot Ansa, Calabar, Cross River State, attracted captains of industry, the political class, business executives, and guests from across the country.

In a heartfelt tribute, Senator Onor described Mrs. Ogbe as a woman who has lived "an extraordinarily fruitful, industrious, purposeful, and exemplary life," adding that she has been a loving and caring mother to all who have been privileged to "walk into the amazing embrace of her bounteous matriarchal generosity."

He further stated that he would never forget her warm smile and the genuine affection with which she made him feel special and loved at every encounter.

Among the dignitaries in attendance were the Governor of Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, and his Deputy, H.E. Peter Odey; former Governor Liyel Imoke; former Deputy Governor, H.E. Efiok Cobham; Distinguished Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, SAN; Minister of State for Industry, Senator John Owan Enoh; and Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe.

Others include Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem; the Managing Director of the South South Development Commission (SSDC), Ms. Usoro Akpabio; Senator Gershom Bassey; Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State, Hon. Chris Etta; Chief Dakuku Peterside; Rt. Hon. Daniel Asuquo (Danilo); Rt. Hon. Onofiok Luke; and several other prominent personalities.

Appreciating guests on behalf of the family, Pa Ebak Ayang Ogbe, expressed gratitude for their invaluable gift of time, warm wishes, generous presents and the overwhelming show of love.
