2027: OBI WAVES ZONING AS ‘polity stabiliser’, explains why he’ll do one term if elected
"Former Governor of Anambra State and 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi, has explained that his decision to run for one term of four years, if elected president in 2027, is to respect the sanctity of zoning, which, he said, has served as the very kernel of the nation’s political stability since the advent of the current political dispensation in 1999, despite its not being expressly provided for in the constitution.

NIGERIA: ENDING THE AFFLICTIONS of age falsifications by Judges, by Chidi Anselm Odinkalu
"A little over two decades away from its perception as a shrine for the resolution of the most rarefied disputes in the country, the Supreme Court of Nigeria played host to a Nigerian drama. With less than two years to go before retirement, a senior justice of that court approached then-Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Mohammed Lawal Uwais with a discovery. A wise, old uncle of his from the village in one of the states of southern Nigeria had just informed him, the Justice disclosed, that there had been an error in the computation of his age as he had, indeed, been born two years later than the age disclosed in his documentation. He sought the consent of CJN Uwais for the rectification of that little error..."

IPOB REFUTES UMAHI'S Kanu release negotiations claim, calls it “reckless, contemptuous” propaganda
"The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has described as “reckless and contemptuous” a report quoting the Minister of Works, David Umahi, as claiming that negotiations are going on at the moment for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the group’s detained leader.
"Calling the report “laughable propaganda, obviously orchestrated by the same oppressive government that criminally abducted and extraordinarily renditioned him from Kenya,” IPOB accused the FG of resorting to gimmicks in the handling of the controversial Nnamdi Kanu case, insisting that for former Governor Umahi to claim a non-existent negotiation is ongoing “is nothing short of an insult—both to Kanu’s person and to the millions of Biafrans whose hopes he embodies...”
