What a lovely finish from Conceicao
After all the substitutions the game needed a spark and substitute Conceicao has provided it.

He collected the ball on the right edge of the Nigeria box, jinked inside onto his left foot and arrowed a powerful strike into the far corner which gave keeper Okoye no chance.

Ronaldo involved in everything
Ronaldo has been pretty central to most of what Portugal have done so far but it’s not really working for him as of yet.

A scrappy game so far
Nigeria just had a three-on-three counter attack there but took way too long on the ball in the Portuguese box and the home side were able to recover.

It’s been a really transitional game so far with neither side able to truly dictate the play.

Onyemaechi has just gone into the book for a foul on Neves.

Straight off the back of that Portugal chance, Nigeria then break up the other end and it’s Adams who drags his effort wide of Costa’s near post.
