There is a place for disciplining your child but there is also a place for drawing them closer in love and telling them the reason for the discipline.

It's alarming when two people intending to get married still don't see the importance of also preparing holistically( Spiritually, emotionally, socially, financially, mentally and love life) for their children. At that point the welfare of children isn't in view. So they plan the wedding (ceremony), and leave the vital aspect of marriage (Living together)

How many intending couples, come together to have a discuss about what values and legacies should govern their children upbringing.

How many intending couples, come together to scrutinize the wrong perspective in their individual families and say "this one will not happen in mine own family".

How many intending couples, went back in time to their teenage years and pinpointed what he/she should have known that played a key part in traumas, low self esteem, lack of confidence, Peer groups as well as the pressures etc and have decided that this and that will not happen to my children, I know better now".

This is what am talking about, preparing to groom your children holistically. This is only possible when you make provision for it.

What are the structures you are putting in place to make your children (pre teen and teens ) spiritually, socially/emotionally, economically, and love life stable.

What are the systems you have put in place to reduce the overwhelming seasons from your teens.
