A MUST READ FOR EVERY BATCH C PCMs 2025

Another nysc registration season with several thing to note and several images from NYSC. Here is a single post digest of all those images.

1.GENERAL NOTICE
i. PCMs should register with only NYSC accredited cybercafé operators

ii. Do not thumbprint by proxy (meaning don't allow someone else to thumbprint for you).

2. GENDER AND TITLE MISTAKE ON YOUR PORTAL
Select Correct Title and Gender during Online Registration

Title (Miss, Mrs, Mr)
Gender (Male or Female)

TIPS TO Guide PCM FOR DATE OF BIRTH (DOB) CORRECTION
i. Apply for Date of Birth Correction on your dashboard with WAEC. Get WAEC Verification pin.

ii. The DOB link is active on your dashboard during Online Registration, ensure you make use of it appropriately.

iii. The WAEC Certificate must be equal or more than four (4) years as at the time of graduation.

iv. Do not use another person's WAEC detail to apply, it will be dissaproved.

v. Ensure there is no disparity of names on your WAEC and that of your dashboard.

vi. A notification will be sent to your mail when your application have been processed.

You are expected to login and check your Mobilization status on your dashboard.

vii. If your status did not change, it means you are still exempted, move on.

viii. Go to your Institution after three (3) months and collect your Exemption Certificate.

ix. You cannot apply for DOB Correction after Camp Registration.

4. PROCEDURE TO APPLY FOR CORRECTION OF DATE OF BIRTH
i. Get 19 or 20 digits WAEC Verification Pin from any First Bank branch.

ii. Login to your Dashboard with your Username and Password.

iii. Click on the Date of Birth link.
Enter WAEC Verification Pin, select WAEC Type, Year of Exam and enter your Examination Number.
iv. Click on Verify button
Click SUBMIT or CANCEL

5. THE FOLLOWING CORRECTION ARE ALSO AVAILABLE ON DASHBOARD
i. Correction of Course of Study
ii. Correction of Qualification
iii. Correction of Class of Degree

Your SAO(Student Affairs Officer) will treat the request online

6. NAME DISCREPANCY
This is to notify PCM's that addition or removal of names will no longer be allowed on the NYSC portal. . Only name at Matriculation is allowed for upload on the NYSC portal by the Corps Producing Institution

However, correction of simple spelling mistakes and names re-arrangement are still allowed on your dashboard

7 MARRIED PCMs REGISTRATION
Married Female PCMs who want to apply for Concessional Posting based on Marital grounds are to upload the following documents;

i. Marriage Certificate
ii. Newspaper change of name ( DM admin for the publication)
iii. Identity of Husband ( National ID, International Passport or Driver's Licence )
iv. Evidence of Husband's State of Residence.
v. Letter from Employee/Utility bill.

8. DATE OF GRADUATION ISSUES
PCM's with discrepancies in their Date of Graduation as uploaded on the NYSC portal and the date on their Statement of Results will not be registered in the Orientation Camp

PCMs should sort out such issues with the Student Affairs Officers (SAO) before reporting to the Camp.

Foreign-trained graduates should enter the exact date of graduation on their certificate during online registration.

9. DATE OF GRADUATION FORMAT
The correct format for Date of Graduation on Statement of Result is
Day/Month/Year

PCM are advised to take note of this

10. STATE OF ORIGIN ISSUE
The State of Origin of the PCMs used for NYSC mobilization emanates from the Jamb database. It cannot be changed after registration.

11. ADDITIONAL
PCM's who are serving in the Armed forces should indicate and upload necessary documents during Online Registration, requirement for exemption include;

i. Enter Service Number
ii. Upload Letter of Enlistment
iii. Upload Introductory letter from the command
iv. Upload Official ID Card

Also note that part-time graduates are to register online so as to enable them print their Exclusion Letter on their dashboard.
