Steve didn’t think much about his heart—until the day he couldn’t climb the stairs to his office without stopping halfway.
Living and hustling in a city like Lagos, he blamed the exhaustion on traffic, long meetings, and late nights. “Na normal,” he told himself.
But when the tiredness lingered, he decided to see a doctor. After a few tests, the verdict was clear: his triglyceride levels were high, and his heart was under quiet pressure.
“You’re not alone,” the doctor said calmly. “But you need to be intentional about your cardiovascular health.”
Intentional! The word stayed with him.
Alongside advice on exercise and diet, the doctor recommended one key supplement: Omega-3 fatty acids.
Found in fish like salmon and mackerel, Omega-3s help lower triglycerides, reduce inflammation, and support healthy blood vessels.
Since Steve rarely ate fish, a high-quality Omega-3 supplement became part of his daily routine.
Weeks passed. He started walking in the evenings, reduced fried foods, and stayed consistent with his supplement.
Gradually, the difference was clear. He felt lighter. Stronger. More energetic. The staircase no longer defeated him, he has a stronger heart and a renewed sense of vitality.
In a city that never slows down, he learned one powerful lesson: if you want to keep up with life, you must first take care of your heart.

People Plotted Against Me, But God Had Other Plans — Defence Minister
Nigeria's Defence Minister, Christopher Musa, has opened up about the challenges he faced during his military career, revealing that people conspired against him and thought they had succeeded in blocking his rise to leadership. However, Musa credits divine intervention for his eventual triumph, stating, "There were times people conspired against me and thought they had already won... But God had a different plan. What they meant for evil, God turned around for good".
Musa shared his testimony during a church service at Conquerors Global Assembly in Abuja, where he emphasized the importance of faith and perseverance in overcoming adversity.
He noted that his experience taught him resilience, patience, and reliance on faith, especially in an institution where competition for advancement often breeds rivalry.
The Defence Minister's story has resonated with many Nigerians, who see it as a message of hope and encouragement in the face of challenges.
Musa urged his audience not to lose hope, stressing that "when things don’t go your way and you think it’s the end, it may simply be a redirection".
Musa's appointment as Defence Minister was announced by President Bola Tinubu on December 2, following the resignation of Mohammed Badaru on health grounds.
He was sworn into office two days later, with the President expressing confidence in his ability to strengthen Nigeria's security framework.
