As the Nigerian flag waves high today, the Academy for Health Development extends its warmest felicitations to every citizen on the occasion of our nation's Independence Day.
Today, we do not just celebrate the Independence of our great country; we celebrate the resilience, the spirit, and the boundless potential that defines the Nigerian people. We remember the sacrifices of our heroes past, whose labour gave birth to this great nation, and we acknowledge that the true fight for independence continues in the daily pursuit of a stronger, healthier, and more prosperous Nigeria.
The journey to true national health independence requires a vision built on knowledge and capacity. For us at the Academy, this is our sacred mandate. We look forward with unwavering optimism, dedicated to training the next generation of resilient healthcare professionals, generating critical research, and translating that evidence into policies that will build a world-class health system.
