SANITARY PADS DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM AT GOVERNMENT DAY SECONDARY SCHOOL, MOHAMMED NYA, JALINGO
On the 16th of October, 2025, the Ceto Rai Humanitarian Foundation conducted a Sanitary Pads Distribution Program at Government Day Secondary School (GDSS), Mohammed Nya, Jalingo. The outreach was part of the Foundation’s ongoing humanitarian commitment to improving the health, education, and general wellbeing of vulnerable groups within society—particularly women and children.
Representing the Foundation at the event was Mr. Umar Jalo, the Executive Director of Administration, accompanied by other staff members. The exercise aimed to promote menstrual health and hygiene awareness among adolescent girls, ensuring they have access to essential sanitary materials and accurate information to manage their menstrual cycles with dignity and confidence.
The program featured enlightening presentations by two health professionals:
Nurse Khadija Isa, who spoke on “Understanding Menstruation”, educating the students on the biological and emotional aspects of menstruation and dispelling common myths surrounding it.
Mrs. Sharerfa Naseh, who delivered a talk on “Proper Use and Disposal of Menstrual Pads”, emphasizing hygiene, environmental safety, and the importance of maintaining good health practices during menstruation.
The highlight of the event was the symbolic distribution of sanitary pads, led by Mr. Umar Jalo, who presented the first sets of pads to two students before the general distribution commenced. The gesture not only provided immediate relief for many of the beneficiaries but also reinforced the Foundation’s advocacy for menstrual equity and health education among schoolgirls.
In his brief remarks, Mr. Jalo reiterated the Foundation’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes across different sectors—including education, healthcare, empowerment, and social welfare. He stressed that menstrual hygiene is a key aspect of girl-child health and education, noting that lack of access to sanitary products and information often contributes to absenteeism and loss of confidence among female students.
The program was well received by both students and staff of GDSS Mohammed Nya, who expressed appreciation to the Ceto Rai Humanitarian Foundation for the thoughtful intervention.
Through initiatives such as this, the Foundation continues to demonstrate its dedication to uplifting communities, promoting gender equality, and supporting the holistic development of young people, particularly the girl child.

A Heartwarming Success Of The Ramadan Feeding Program On The 29th March, 2025 In Wuro Yerima Kala Gembu Sardauna local government of TARABA State.
The spirit of Ramadan shone brightly as the Ceto RaiFoundation successfully carried out its Ramadan Feeding Program, reaching out to 170 Children. 100 Orphans and 70 less privileged (Mostly Almajirai) with love, care, and nourishment. This initiative was more than just a meal, it was a symbol of hope, compassion, and the power of giving.
Through the continued support of our founder Mr. Mahabubu Sani and Mr Umar Jalo volunteers, and well wishers, we were able to extend a helping hand to those children who needed it the most. Seeing the joy on the faces of these children as they shared in the blessings of Ramadan was a humbling reminder of the true essence of charity.
We remain committed to serving humanity, one act of kindness at a time. To everyone who contributed in one way or another, thank you for making a difference! Together, we can continue to be a beacon of HOPE TO THE HOPELESS in our society.
THANK YOU.
