GOVERNOR CALEB MUTFWANG IN NO SECRET DEAL WITH THE APC REMAINS A LOYAL AND COMMITTED PDP GOVERNOR
The attention of the Plateau State Government has been drawn to a series of unfounded, mischievous and deliberately misleading rumours circulating within certain political circles, insinuating that His Excellency, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, is involved in a clandestine arrangement with the All Progressives Congress (APC).
For the avoidance of doubt and in the interest of truth, clarity and public confidence, we wish to state emphatically that there is no such deal, no such discussion, and no such intention anywhere public or private.
Governor Mutfwang remains a bona fide, dedicated and loyal member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and continues to uphold the values and commitments of the party under which he was overwhelmingly elected by the good people of Plateau State.
These rumours are the handiwork of political speculators who thrive on deceit, sensationalism and unnecessary tension. Their aim is simple: to distract a performing Governor and create confusion where none exists. Plateau people know better. They know the Governor’s long-standing conviction, his principled political journey, and his firm loyalty to the PDP family.
Governor Mutfwang is wholly focused on restoring peace, rebuilding infrastructure, strengthening institutions and delivering democratic dividends to every corner of the state. He has neither the time nor the inclination for political theatrics sponsored by those who fear progress and stability.
We therefore urge members of the public, party stakeholders and supporters of this administration to disregard these baseless speculations. The Plateau State Government remains steady, united and unapologetically committed to the PDP platform.
Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s mandate is secure, his loyalty is unwavering, and his dedication to the people of Plateau State is total.

EXPOSED: Over 2 Billion Naira “Disappeared” in Plateau State!
While the Christmas Carol Committee got only 300 million naira, the Plateau State Government claims to have spent over 2 billion naira. Yet, there is no project, no visible development, nothing to show for it.
This isn’t just mismanagement it’s blatant theft of public funds under the guise of a religious celebration. How can a government use faith and festivity to line its pockets while the people suffer?
Plateau deserves progress, not corruption. Zero accountability, zero transparency, zero development. The people are watching, and the people will remember.
When leaders betray trust, even Christmas becomes a cover for greed.

GOVERNOR MUTFWANG DISSOCIATES SELF FROM ANYANWU FACTION OF THE PDP, REAFFIRMS LOYALTY TO DAMAGUN-LED LEADERSHIP
Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has distanced himself from the Anyanwu-led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reaffirming his loyalty and allegiance to the party’s leadership under Ambassador Umar Iliya Damagun.
The Governor made this clarification while speaking with journalists at the University of Jos, where he inspected the institution’s level of preparedness for the forthcoming Nigerian Universities Games Association (NUGA) competition.
Governor Mutfwang emphasized that the PDP is a large and resilient political family that cannot be dragged into disrepute by the actions of a few individuals. He assured that PDP governors are working collectively to address the party’s internal challenges and will soon convene an emergency meeting to find lasting solutions to the lingering issues.
Responding to questions on the recent wave of defections from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress (APC), including that of Governor Diri of Bayelsa State, Governor Mutfwang described the development as unfortunate and regrettable. However, he expressed confidence that the PDP, like the biblical dry bones, will rise again to reclaim its strength and unity.
The Governor also commended the Vice Chancellor of the University of Jos and his management team for their impressive level of preparedness ahead of the NUGA Games. He pledged his administration’s continued support to ensure the success of the event.

John T. Akans Has No Moral Right to Speak on Morals, Culture, and Values
It is both laughable and hypocritical that John T. Akans, Special Adviser to the Governor of Plateau State, would attempt to present himself as a custodian of morality, culture, and values. For a man whose personal life has been riddled with scandals, infidelity, and shame, the audacity to preach morals to others is nothing short of insulting to the intelligence of Plateau people.
On record, John Akans has been involved in multiple sexual scandals that contradict the values he pretends to defend. Particularly shameful was the incident between the night of April 12th and 13th, 2023, when he was spotted at the popular Novel Suite Hotel in Jos. On that occasion, he physically confronted and threatened another man over a side chick. Eyewitnesses confirm that he even went as far as threatening to kill this said man over the woman. Such reckless behavior is unbecoming of any public official, but it is especially scandalous for a man who parades himself as a Knight of the Catholic Church.
Worse still, reports indicate that this same John Akans impregnated the said side chick and, in a desperate attempt to cover up his shameful deed, pushed for an abortion. This act was not only a violation of his marital vows but also the highest form of disrespect to his wife, family, and the Church he claims to represent. The evidence of these actions is well documented, and we dare him to deny these allegations, as more damning revelations are available to present to the public.
Given such a tainted record, Akans has no moral standing to attack others on the grounds of values or morality. His recent attempts to speak ill of Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, a man of proven integrity and character, only expose his frustration. Prof. Nentawe’s reputation, both in his public service and private life, remains unblemished. Unlike Akans, he embodies the virtues of dignity, discipline, and self-control.
To worsen matters, Akans even sought to lecture Prof. Nentawe on how to mourn his late mother. This is beyond insensitive; it is wickedness of the highest order. Grief is deeply personal, and no one—least of all a man like Akans—has the right to dictate to a son how to mourn his mother.
If John T. Akans has any decency left, he should confine himself to issue-based politics and refrain from dragging campaigns into the gutter with personal attacks. He must understand that nobody has the monopoly of playing dirty. Once he goes down that road, he should be prepared to face equal, if not worse, scrutiny into his private life.
In conclusion, John T. Akans is in no position to lecture anyone on morality, culture, or values. His own life is a catalogue of immorality and disgrace. Plateau people deserve leaders who can speak with integrity, not hypocrites who live double lives. Akans should keep silent on morals, as his own character disqualifies him from that conversation.
