Kudan Local Government Update

Last Wednesday, 3rd April 2024, the Executive Chairman of Kudan Local Government and Chairman ALGON Kaduna state chapter, Hon. Dr. Shuaibu Jaja Bawa led caucus meeting of APC stakeholders from Zone I in Kaduna state.

Dr. Jaja stated that the meeting which took place under his leadership was organised in collaboration with the eight (8) local government chairmen of the Zone.

The aim of the meeting, according to Hon. Jaja, was to come up with new strategies for the party in Zone I.

The APC in Kaduna state continue to gather momentum as a result of massive defection to the party from opposition parties in the state. Dr. Jaja described this development as evidence of Gov. Uba Sani’s inclusive and unifying leadership style in moving the state forward.

Arising from topical issues discussed during the meeting, participants expressed their readiness to do more in ensuring the progress and unity of all party members in the region.

Some of the dignitaries that attended the meeting include: Engr. Muhammad Usman, (Chairman Sabon Gari LGA); Engr. Kabiru Mu’azu Mayere, (Chairman Makarfi LGA); and the Chairmen Zaria & Lere LGAs.

Others include party leaders such as: Mal. Kawu Yakasai, (Organising Secretary); Alhaji Ashiru Zuntu (Zone I party chairman); Hajiya Hafsat Makarfi (Zonal Woman Leader); as well as LGA and Ward leaders of the party from Zone I in Kaduna state.

At the end the retreat, Dr. Jaja shared 25kg of rice and a sum of thirty thousand naira (₦30,000) to the party leaders as a mark of his usual intervention to party faithfuls.
