Meet Aisha Lawan Hamza, a remarkable student from Galaxy Academy Nguru, Yobe State. Aisha was among the top five students who earned the prestigious recognition of securing the 1st position in the recent ‘Spelling Bee’ competition, organized by the Nguru Literary Society.

The competition, held on Sunday, was a celebration of academic excellence, bringing together young minds to demonstrate their exceptional spelling and intellectual skills. Seven students qualified for the final stage, where intense competition led to two students being knocked out, leaving five to emerge as co-winners of the 1st position.

At the conclusion of the event, after several rounds of questions and answers, the elders of the society came together to announce the final results. Aisha, along with the other four students, was recognized for their outstanding performance, earning the distinguished honor of being among the first-place winners.
