The Director General/Focal Person (DG/FP) of the Nasarawa State Human Capital Development Agency (NSHCDA) received the Postmaster, Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST), Nasarawa State, on a courtesy and appreciation visit in recognition of her support towards the successful conduct of the 2-Day Training Programme on Mail Handling in MDAs and Private Establishments across Nasarawa State.
The training, held from 5th–6th May, 2026, was organized under the theme: "Applying Modern Techniques in Resolving Speedier Mail Processing in Organizations."
During the visit, the Postmaster conveyed the appreciation of the Postmaster General of the Federation for the seamless facilitation and support provided towards the successful ex*****on of the programme. He noted that the training conducted in Nasarawa State ranked among the best organized and most impactful trainings held across Nigeria.
He further stated that the programme significantly enhanced participants' understanding of modern approaches to mail handling and processing, aimed at improving efficiency, speed, and service delivery within both public and private institutions.
As a token of appreciation and recognition for her support and contributions toward the success of the programme, the Postmaster also presented souvenirs to the DG/FP on behalf of the organization.
In her response, the DG/FP appreciated the visit and reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen institutional capacity, improve service delivery, and contribute to the overall Human Capital Development (HCD) Agenda of Nasarawa State.

Today, the Director General/Focal Person of the Nasarawa State Human Capital Development Agency (NSHCDA) received a high-level advocacy delegation from the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, Nasarawa State Ministry of Women Affairs, and CS-SUNN (Civil Society-Scaling Up Nutrition in Nigeria), both at national and state levels.
The delegation expressed appreciation for the warm reception and commended NSHCDA as a pioneering agency driving Human Capital Development in Nigeria. They highlighted their excitement to engage with an institution where health and nutrition remain core thematic priorities.
The visit, beyond advocacy, focused on building strategic collaboration around:
• Implementation of the National Guidelines for Women & Girl Child Empowerment and Nutrition in Nasarawa State
• Promoting women’s participation in decision-making roles
• Expanding access to economic inclusion and empowerment opportunities
• Increasing female education across communities
The representatives from the Ministry of Women Affairs commended the DG/FP for her impactful strides in advancing women and girl child development, emphasizing the importance of strengthening collaboration with NSHCDA to scale results.
In her response, the DG/FP expressed appreciation for the caliber of stakeholders present and acknowledged previous successful partnerships with CS-SUNN, noting their measurable impact. She reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to collaboration and encouraged continued advocacy, particularly targeting women and frontline actors such as midwives who play critical roles in improving nutrition outcomes.
The delegation appreciated the positive reception and reiterated their commitment to delivering on their mandate through sustained partnership.
