I’m craving a man’s touch, craving a man’s presence in my life. I feel extremely lonely this season. I want someone to call my man and call me his baby. Even my hormones are not helping matters.

The constant urge to be hugged by a man keeps coming, and I can’t seem to focus. I really can’t pray well. Am I alright? Where are all these feelings coming from?

You are perfectly alright.

What you’re feeling is real, and it’s more common than you think. Loneliness can heighten your need for affection, closeness, and emotional safety.
It doesn’t make you weak or desperate, it makes you human.

Instead of judging yourself, acknowledge what you feel, sit with it, understand it, and redirect it wisely. Build meaningful connections, stay grounded in your values, and keep pouring into your purpose. Let your desires be guided, not controlled, by your emotions.

There are moments when the longing feels overwhelming, and even your focus, emotions, and spiritual life may feel affected. That doesn’t mean something is wrong with you, it simply means your heart is asking for connection.

But in this new week, be intentional.
Don’t let the craving push you into the wrong hands or make you settle for less than you deserve. Desire is natural, but discernment is necessary.

You are not empty because you are single, you are not incomplete because no one is holding you right now. This season is not a punishment, it is a phase, and it will pass.
