We don’t talk enough about the waiting period......that season where prayers are prayed… but answers haven’t yet arrived. You know that space?? It’s silent, It’s stretching, it’s holy ground and yet it feels like nothing is happening.

But hear me: "Waiting is not Wasting.

When God makes a promise, He often puts a period of silence in between the declaration and the manifestation. Abraham waited. Joseph waited. David waited. Even Jesus waited. And you? You are not being punished instead you are being prepared.

📖 Habakkuk 2:3 says,

“Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

Yes, it sounds like a contradiction but divine timing often confounds human logic.

I once read in a book by Henri Nouwen, “Waiting is a period of learning. The longer we wait, the more we hear about Him for whom we are waiting.” Let that sink in. In the silence, in the pause, in the ‘not yet’, God is whispering truths we could never hear in the noise.

So if you are in your waiting season right now, be it that you are waiting for healing, for clarity, for breakthrough, for a door to open......I want you to do two things:

• Don’t confuse delay with denial.

• Let the waiting make you, not break you.

Be still
Grow roots
Build character
Trust deep
Cry if you must
But don’t you dare give up.

Waiting seasons are wombs. Something is growing.

And when it comes? It will be worth every quiet tear, every silent night, every hidden prayer.

Hold on. God is still writing.
