Preparing Now For Kingdom Living
Text Matt 5-7
Key Verse:Matt 5:4:-Blessed are they that mourn,for they shall be comforted
We all know what it means to mourn and sorrow over the loss of a friend,family member or a spouse That relationship you have put in so much to build That marriage that wayward child The loss of material things like car,house job
Jesus was not only talking about material things He was also talking about an attitude that we must have to make us fit for the kingdom of heaven
We no longer mourn as women when we see our boys and girls indulge in sin even our own children
We no longer mourn for the shame on our streets when girl,s women, mothers and grandmothers walk the street half naked
We no longer mourn when we see parents who cannot feed or cloth their children
We no lnger mourn for the affliction of others
The church has become leprous It cannot feel pain
Jesus is telling us to reject the world standard(Rom12:15-21)
The world is saying enjoy but Jesus is saying mourn
Our instincts is to avoid pain and the pain of others
But we can learn from them and give them as part of our devotion and gift to God
We must accept that life is not given for the sole purpose of our own comfort and enjoyment
If we are going to make heaven our home,pride must be replaced with humility,the desire to enjoy must be replaced with mourning
We must not mourn for our own sin only but we must love enough to mourn for the sins of others
The Lord has promised to comfort those who pour out love and concern in the form of tears
I pray for you that the Lord will give you a new heart to follow him to the end in Jesus name Amen

Are you Ready
Matt 24:32,33;-Now learn a parable of the fig tree When his branch is yet tender and putting firth leaves ye know that summer is nigh (33)So likewise ye when ye shall see all these things know that it is near even at the door.
There are so many signs and things happening in the world around us to make us wake up
This is the time to draw nearer to the Lord, to know Him We can know him better through the word
Most christains dont read the bible-the word of God
The word of God is a necessity because it gives root to our faith
The bible nourishes us with principles for living
The bible is the constant rain that waters the root system of our faith
The word of God helps us to stand in faith
Rom 10:17:-So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing the word of God
The word of God is what strengthens our faith and gives us boldness to stand in the times of trouble
The word of God gives practical wisdom on how to live our life daily
There is persecution in the world today and it will spread and living your life as a christain will become more difficult
The only way to survive to the end is to load your life with the word of God in the inside of you
If you dont know Him enough now it will not easy to survive what is about to start happening
I pray the Lord to draw us to Himself to prepare us for this endtime experience
